Arlington National Cemetery

FROM RICHMOND
Drive north on Route 95. Near the Washington Beltway, Route 95 will merge with the Beltway-do not merge with the Beltway. Continue traveling north on Route 395 toward Washington, DC. Take Exit 8-B (Arlington National Cemetery exit). This exit is to Route 27. Stay in the left lane until reaching the circle (on the Virginia side of the Arlington Memorial Bridge). Proceed counter-clockwise around the circle to Memorial Drive.

On Memorial Drive there will be a traffic guide who will be directing all traffic into the pay parking facility. You do not want to enter the pay parking facility. Stay to the right on Memorial Drive and inform the traffic guide that you are here for a funeral (please provide the name of the decedent to the guide). You will then continue on Memorial Drive. At the end of the street, turn left into the cemetery (if you are going to the Administration Building) or turn right into the cemetery and follow the white line (if you are going to the Post Chapel for a chapel service).

FROM FREDERICK, MARYLAND
Travel south on Route 270. Near the Washington Beltway (Route 495) the lanes will split. Stay to the right and follow the signs to Virginia. You will merge with the Beltway and continue traveling south on the Beltway. Upon crossing the American Legion Bridge (leaving Maryland and entering Virginia), get into the right lane and take the first exit (George Washington Parkway). Travel on the GW Parkway until you start going under bridges. Take the Arlington Cemetery-Memorial Bridge exit. Merge left with the traffic exiting from Route 110. At the stop sign make a left onto Memorial Drive. See the directions above for Memorial Drive.

FROM BALTIMORE
Drive south on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway or on Route 95 to the Washington Beltway. You can travel on Route 95 (eastern side of the Beltway) or travel on Route 495 (to the western side of the Beltway). If you follow Route 95, stay on the Beltway to Route 395 north (see directions from Richmond). If you follow Route 495 stay on the Beltway to the George Washington Parkway (see directions from Frederick).

FROM WESTERN VIRGINIA

In Delaware, follow I-295 to the Delaware Memorial Bridge, enter the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 10. After paying toll, follow signs for NJ 440 and Outerbridge, crossing. Bear right after Staten Island Tollbooth to West Shore Expressway; follow signs to Staten Island Expressway toward Verrazano Bridge. Exit Verrazano Bridge to Belt Parkway East (toward JFK airport); remain on Belt Parkway, exiting left to Southern Parkway/ Jones Beach, exit Southern Parkway at exit 33, Route 109. Follow Routes 1 and 9 to Fairview, turn right (watch for 7-11 and Yankee's Tower Diner). The Cemetery is at the top of the hill on the left.

Via George Washington Bridge- Take I-9 South to Fairview Avenue (approximately 5 miles) make a right on Fairview Avenue and bear left. Go straight up the hill. You will see a 7-11 on your left, go four more blocks and the Cemetery is on the left.

95 North to New Jersey Turnpike, take exit 13, Verrazano Narrows- Goethals Bridge, from Verrazano Bridge, get in the far left lane and bear left on the Belt Parkway, continue to the exit for Pennsylvania Avenue (it will be the first exit past the Rockaway Parkway exit). When getting off at this exit make a sharp left at the light onto Pennsylvania Avenue and continue on Pennsylvania Avenue until it becomes the Interboro Parkway. The first exit off the Interboro Parkway is Cypress Hills Street. Make a left onto Cypress Hills Street off the exit ramp; the third building on the right is the entrance to Mount Neboh Cemetery.

Take the New Jersey Turnpike to George Washington Bridge. Cross the Bridge and take the Major Deegan Expressway (past Yankee Stadium), continue to the Tri-borough Bridge, at the end of the bridge, get on Grand Central Parkway. Go about 1/2 mile and take the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (BQE), take this to the second Queens Boulevard Exit, which is Queens Boulevard Eastbound. Go left at the light, after about 30 feet, make another immediate left. Go 1 or 2 blocks and go right on 63rd Street, continue on 63rd and enter rear entrance of cemetery, continue through to cemetery office.

At the intersection of Route 40 and State Highway 55, take 55 exit South toward Vineland NJ. On 55 South the next exit approximately 5 miles will be 35B -Exit, 1st exit on the right. Brothmonville-Garden Rd. Take this exit to the next crossroad approximately 1 mile. Gershal Avenue/Garden Road. Make a left turn onto Gershal Avenue. Cemetery is approximately 2.5 miles on the left side of the road.

Via Route 1:
Southbound: After you reach Woodbridge, you'll pass a sign for the Woodbridge Center Mall on your left and a Red Lobster & Chi Chi's restaurant on your right. Continue past Gill Lane and take the very next right turn for Woodbridge Center Drive. This takes you across Route 1. Cemetery entrance is the first right on Woodbridge Center Drive.

North Bound:
Continue on Route 1 North. Follow sign for Woodbridge Center Drive. Entrance is first right on Woodbridge Center Drive across from the Woodbridge Mall.

Via New Jersey Turnpike
Southbound: Leave Turnpike at Exit No. 13 (not 13A) - Elizabeth, Take Route 1 South 8.5 miles, and continue with directions Via Route 1 Southbound

Northbound: Leave Turnpike at Exit 10 and take Route 287 North for about 1 mile to Route 1 North. Continue North 2 miles to Woodbridge Center Drive. Cemetery entrance is the first right on Woodbridge Center Drive, across from the Woodbridge Mall.

Via Garden State Parkway
Southbound: Leave Parkway at exit 130 Route 1 North. Follow sign for Woodbridge Center Drive. Entrance is first right on Woodbridge Center Drive across from the Woodbridge Mall.

Northbound from NJ Shore Points: Take Garden State Parkway North to Exit 127 - Woodbridge. Follow signs "Woodbridge - Route 9 North." Go 2.2 miles on route on Route 9 and make right at sign "Main Street -Woodbridge Center Drive". At traffic light, make left onto Main Street, still following signs for Woodbridge Center Drive. Go about 4/10 a mile and make a right on Woodbridge Center Drive. Go past three traffic lights staying in the left lane. Make left at the divider in the median to the cemetery entrance.

Coming from the North on the Garden State Parkway: Get off at Exit 88 - Route 70 West. Beth Olam Memorial Park is just a short distance on the right. (Before the State Inspection Station.)

95 North to Delaware Memorial Bridge, a short distance from the bridge is Exit 40, take exit 40 (also Route 40), go through Mays Landing to the Hamilton Mall. At the mall, Route 40 becomes 40/322. Get in the far right lane and make sharp right at the mall. Follow the signs for Atlantic City; continue on this stretch of road to the Beth Kehlilah Cemetery on the right (go slow), entrance to Rodef Sholom at yellow brick building, sign for cemetery on right.

Via Holland Tunnel:
Leaving Tunnel take Highway #1 to Traffic Circle in Jersey City; at circle make right turn onto Tonnelle Avenue (U.S. #1). Go approximately 3 miles to next traffic circle and bear left onto Route #3 west. Go about 5 miles to Passaic Avenue Exit bearing right; go one block to Allwood Road turn left and go one block to Dwas Line Road; turn right onto Dwas Line Road, go 2/10ths of a mile to Cemetery entrance gates on left. Via Garden State Parkway:
(Approximately 8 1/2 miles) Take Route #3 from the Lincoln Tunnel. Follow the signs to 3 west - (bear right to avoid going on to the Turnpike) - follow signs NJ 3 West - Clifton. Leave Route #3 at sign - Passaic Avenue (Nutley-Passaic) bear right one block to Allwood Road - turn left onto Allwood Road, go one block and turn right onto Dwas Line Road and go 2/10ths of a mile to Cemetery entrance gates on left. Via George Washington Bridge:
Route 80 and Garden State Parkway (South). Leaving George Washington Bridge take Route 80 Express only for 10 miles to Garden State Parkway South; then get on Garden State Parkway South and go about 6 1/2 miles to Route 3. Get off Parkway at Exit 153 onto Route 3 by bearing left at Exit 153 (3 East-Lincoln Tunnel); travel on Route 3 East approximately 2 miles to Passaic Avenue - Nutley Exit Sign and bear right; go under the bridge to the traffic light and turn left onto Allwood Road; go one block and make a right turn onto Dwas Line Road and travel 2/10ths of a mile to the entrance gates of the Cemetery on the left.
